The major disadvantage of preparation through books is teacher less methodology that makes solutions explanation lengthy. It is very rare to have optimal score by self study through books. However; if your targeted score is very low, you can opt this.

In Pakistan, where progressed educational qualifications are growing more and more important, the GRE/GAT has become one of the critical hurdles in the lives of millions. Your performance on the GRE/GAT plays a major role in determining whether or not you’ll be able to attend university or college of your choice for higher education. The GRE/GAT General Test covers an arbitrary and slightly weird collection of skills you may not have used in past studies. Maybe you’ve majored in Urdu literature and hope to doctorate. No matter – you have to take a test that includes questions about plane geometry and algebra. Are you an aspiring researcher in biochemistry? Fine - here’s a test that includes logic puzzles about how guests should be seated at a banquet. Does it make sense? Not much. Do you have choice? Not really. To survive the process – and to make it work for you – you need help. We have no bias.

We have no vested interest in the reputation or image of the GRE/GAT. Our only concern is to offer you the most efficient, accurate, and useful guidance for earning your possible higher score on the GRE/GAT.

About GMAT
GRE stands for the Graduate Records Examination; it is a multiple-choice and standardized test.

Colleges and Universities use the results of the GRE to help them decide which students to accept to their graduate programs. Therefore it is similar to the well-known SAT test except that the GRE is used for acceptance to graduate instead of undergraduate. The GRE is a computerized test that can be taken at authorized testing centers at virtually any time during the year.

The GRE is intended to test general abilities as opposed to specific knowledge about a topic, although a thorough grasp of less-common vocabulary is beneficial. GRE is one of the few widely-available standardized tests that allows them to compare all applicants on a single metric.

Test Pattern
There are several sections of the test as shown below:

Mathematics
Problem Solving; traditional mathematical questions with multiple-choice answers.
Quantitative Comparison; two mathematical formulas are given and the GRE-test-taker is asked to choose which one is greater, if they are equal, or if more information is required to make a determination.

Verbal
Sentence Completion; an incomplete sentence is provided and the GRE-test-taker is asked to choose which word or phrase completes the sentence best.
Analogies; the relationship between two sets of words is given and the GRE-test-taker is asked to choose another set that has a similar relationship.
Antonyms; a word is given and the GRE-test-taker is asked to choose the word that means the opposite.
Reading Comprehension; a reading selection is given, and questions are asked related directly to the passages.

Analytical Writing
Analysis of an Argument; an argument is presented, and the GRE-test-taker is asked to critique the argumentation.
Write an Argument; two issues are provided, and the GRE-test-taker is asked to provide a response supported by argumentation.
